The name selected is GEMILANG for the second
TBM.
We congratulate the winner for his effort.
JPS and SMART have finalized 'Gemilang' as the name
for the second TBM. The name Gemilang was selected
by the panel of judges based on justification given
by the TBM naming competition participant. The name
suggests that the TBM is one which is splendid in
terms of performance, magnificent in appearance and
excellent in quality. These aptly describe the tunnel
boring machine which has a significant and critical
role to play in the construction of the tunnel.
